HM Coastguard VentnorWelcome to the Ventnor Coastguard team's website. This website has been set up by the members of the Ventnor HM Coastguard team to show the public exactly what we do. The team operates under the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and its duties are extremely wide. We are responsible for responding to incidents within our patch (see the 'About Us' page to view the map of our area) and helping people who are in trouble. Some of our calls involve searching for missing people, rescuing people and animals from cliffs and observing boats that are in difficulty amongst many other things. These are just some of the call outs that we have been involved in and you can get a real idea of some of the incidents that we have had by looking at our 'Call Outs' page. Feel free to browse our website and the pictures can be clicked on to view them in a larger size.
