Details Pager call from Solent to assist IW Ambulance with a girl who had fallen on the rocks below La Falaise car park, Ventnor with a possible back and neck injury. Decision made to airlift casualty with CG Rescue 104 to the cliff top so the Ambulance could take patient to casualty. JP stood down from HLS at Seaclose, Newport as decision made to bring in patient by road. RTS - 15:50.

Used mud rescue kit to extract casualty including water lances and shovels etc. Casualty recovered to the cliff top to be checked over by the Ambulance. Casualty safe and well. RTS - 20:30.

Details Pager call from Solent to a report of a lifejacket 250 yards west of St. Catherine's lighthouse. Found a childs buoyancy aid and searched for other debris from previous incident but nothing found. RTS - 15:00.

Details Pager call from Solent to a capsized boat 2 miles south west of St. Catherine's lighthouse. Mayday heard on CH 16 with vessel taking on water and red flare fired. 1 casualty on board who had abandoned vessel into lift raft. Port au Spain responded to mayday and recovered casualty in his life raft. Yarmouth lifeboat arrived on scene to collect debris in the water as the vessel subsequently sank. Casualty returned to Portsmouth safe and well. Very little pollution reported on surface of the water. RTS - 16:30.
