Details Pager call from Solent to assist Needles CRT recover a body from Whale Chine, Chale. Original call was from the Police and Boxer found the body at Whale Chine. T4 recovered and passed to Police as they were in attendance. RTS - 15:45.

Details Call from Solent to report of an object in the water on the shoreline off of St. Catherine's Lighthouse. Searched shoreline from Castlehaven to Rocken End - nothing untoward seen. Thought to be a false sighting of a dark tarpaulin or protruding rocks. Strong Easterly wind. RTS - 18:00. *LAST CALL FOR OLD VENTNOR MOBILE (L493 BRU)*

Details Pager call from Solent to a call from a member of the public regarding a flashing light off of Bonchurch. Checked Sandown Bay and only light seen was the Nab Tower. Nothing else found and stood down. FAWGI. RTS - 23:00.

Details Call from Solent to man Seaclose HLS for medivac from St. Mary's Hospital to Southampton. Waited at HLS for the Helicopter to return with medical staff. RTS - 14:30.

Details Whilst on patrol, tasked by Solent to capsized Catamaran 500 metres off Yaverland Sailing Club. On arrival, 2 people were in the water, one clinging on to the Catamaran. Rescue MU was tasked and winched both persons and all ok. SSILB were tasked to recover the Catamaran whilst JP and AW from Ventnor CG set up Helicopter Landing Site on Yaverland beach so the Helicopter could drop off casualties. SSILB towed Catamaran to Whitecliff Bay for recovery. Casualties safe but cold. Released by Solent to resume patrol - 16:58.

Details

Call from Solent to missing girl in Newport Road, Ventnor. Liaised with Ventnor Police and searched all of Ventnor and district. Rescue MU carried out thermal search. Eventually found girl in Albert Street, Ventnor by the team.

Details Call from Solent regarding Dolphin washed up on beach (see call number 10) wanting to know if it had been removed from the beach. On inspection, it was discovered it hadn't been. RTS - 11:00.

Details Call from Solent via DB to Watershoot Bay as Dolphin washed up on beach. Filled out Natural History Museum form with as much information as possible. RTS - 12:30.

Details Call from Solent to wreckage at Monks Bay, Bonchurch. Found to be that of last weeks wreck (see call number 7). Larger pieces moved up to the top of the beach and details relayed to Solent. RTS - 18:00.

Call to Beaconsfield Road to meet a member of the public after sighting of what they thought was an upturned vessel. Difficult to tell as visibility bad but reported to Solent. They were satisfied that it was timber from the Ice Prince.

Pager call from Solent (Newport IRT) to assist Bembridge CRT and Needles CRT with search for possible person jumping from Red Funnel Ferry. Police located man safe and well having received a lift from another passenger.
