Searched at different vantage points from St. Catherines to Sandown Bay, Yacht seen 3/4 mi SW of Ventnor Haven not making any progress. Sandown Inshore Rescue tasked and Solent asked Ventnor CG to move position to Woody Bay, vessel now not visual. SLB unable to see vessel so searched other areas and not seen. Yacht eventually seen 2mi S of Freshwater by Needles CRT. All OK. RTS - 18:30.
